this was still when Gizmo liked Penny.
Gizmo had enough. all he wanted to do was snug.
away from penny.
one day they will make a lovely couple.

I was looking through my myspace and poems. and i came across this.
it feels good to see this.
refreshing.
its amazing to look at something i did over 2 years ago.
and know that it makes sense today.

A NEW DAY DAWNING
I'm not who I was
a year ago
or even yesterday.
I am evolving day by day,
to make a better person
out of who I already am.
A new day is dawning,
and I can vaguely see
what is coming.
Personalities blossoming,
and not being timid
to express feelings.
Things that need to happen
to crack open my shell.
There is a new day dawning,
and maturity is around the corner.
Getting rid of feelings that
should no longer be lingering
inside of my heart.
All of this is happening
because there is
a new day dawning.

i'd like to draw your attention to gizmo. his back legs. on the couch. front legs... on the chair. he always has to be right there. next to cole.
they'll be buddies one day.
